Seachem ParaGuard 500 ml is an aquarium treatment for external parasites and certain external lesions on ornamental fish. It is intended for freshwater or marine fish treatment, including hospital and quarantine systems.

How to use

Remove invertebrates and chemical filtration before use. The standard aquarium dose is 5 ml per 40 L daily as needed, only while fish show no signs of stress. Follow the manufacturer's full treatment guidance for the condition being addressed.

Important notes

Not recommended for reef aquariums. Eels, loaches, rays and sharks can be medication-sensitive. Check suitability before treatment; similar symptoms can have different causes.

Works great!

Perfect! My betta has gotten fin rot and just over a week of dosing this daily he was cured. His fins are now regrowing as I use stressgaurd to help with healing and to help during medicine dosing. Worked great!

Top Notch (at least in my instance)

Good product. One of the few products that can be safely used on invertebrates.
I used this product for a whole month by dosing my tank daily. I lost just one Cardinal Tetra and a little harm to my aquatic plants. But all good.
Would go for it again.

An excellent product.

Works as advertised; it eradicated the ich infestation, although perhaps not as quickly as some of the stronger medications. It also did not kill my nerite and assasin snails, although a couple of the nerites do show some shell damage. It also did not stain the silicone in my very expensive ADA aquariums. All in all, I will continue to use ParaGuard if and when necessary.
