API Water Care Duo brings together Stress Coat+ water conditioner and Stress Zyme bacterial cleaner in two separate 473 mL (16 fl oz) bottles. Keep the products for replacement-water preparation and weekly aquarium care together, with an 8% saving against buying these two bottles separately.
Two complementary roles in your aquarium routine
- Stress Coat+: treats new tap water by removing chlorine and chloramines and neutralising heavy metals. Its aloe vera formula helps support the fish's protective slime coat.
- Stress Zyme: supplies beneficial bacteria that help consume sludge, uneaten food and other organic debris during regular maintenance.

How to use each bottle
Stress Coat+ for replacement water: use 5 mL per approximately 38 L of new tap water being added. For other uses, including additional slime-coat support, follow the different dose directions on the bottle.
Stress Zyme for routine maintenance: shake well, then use 5 mL per 38 L of total aquarium water weekly. The manufacturer gives separate start-up directions on the label.
The standard measure is similar, but the water volume used to calculate it is different. Measure and dose each product separately according to its own directions.
Compatibility and ongoing care
Both products can be used for freshwater aquarium care. Although they also have saltwater uses, API does not recommend this Stress Coat+ formula in systems running a protein skimmer. Check your aquarium setup before choosing the pair.
Continue normal filtration, water testing, gravel care and water changes. This bundle does not establish that a new aquarium has completed its nitrogen cycle, and Stress Zyme does not replace a tap-water conditioner.
