Seachem Arowana Buffer 250 g adjusts aquarium water towards pH 6.5 for Asian arowana care. The formula also softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium.

How to use

Seachem recommends one level teaspoon per 40 L once or twice monthly, or as needed to maintain the target pH. Dissolve it in replacement water where practical and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Important notes

Test pH and hardness before dosing and monitor changes. Water chemistry affects the amount required; do not make sudden adjustments or assume every fish requires the same pH.

Usage is Very Low.

I bought this for Rs 1400. They didn’t mention how many litres it can be used for. After using this product, it can be used for 1500 litres only. For this price, products in the market can be used for up to 10000 litres. Arowana lovers, kindly avoid this product.

Does what it claims

Does the job pretty well. For people using untreated groundwater, this might cloud the water due to calcium precipitation. It might disappear in a few days.

Works, but I don’t think you really need it. It’s for emergencies if your pH goes up to 8 or something, but 7.2 is good enough.
