Seachem Flourish Advance Plant Growth Supplement 250 ml

I have over 50 plants in my 500 litre tank - Advance promotes rapid stem and root growth in just a few days, I was surprised how strong that growth was. All of the aquatic plant species in my heavily planted tank showed this same rapid growth in stems and vibrant leaf colours and new stem growth. Very impressive.
The watchout is - this increased sudden growth means your plants might need extra fertilisers to capitalise on it so they will use up the normal nutrient supply much faster than usual.
My Anubia leaves started to show an iron deficiency after 2 weeks of use - yellowing - so I had to introduce more iron to the tank. In fact I had to double it. Stem growth was strong.
This fixed it, I only used Advance for the initial 14 day period.
I also used another Seachem product - Trace, so the caveat is this might have affected conditions unexpectedly I got some mild shrivelling of my plant leaves so went back to using my normal easy life Ferro instead. Then the leaves started to recover.
On my next period of use I’ll probably do it for shorter periods. Say 4 days instead of 14 - think that was too long for my established tank.
People will have to err on the side of caution - start low in an established tank and test the water regularly. See how the plants react.
I’ve had no algae blooms In this tank - PH is 7.4 Tenp 24 - Nitrates 0 - Nitrites 0- Ammonia 0 Freshwater tropical community. 50 plants.
Highly recommend Advance but use sparingly.

This is like a green smoothie for your plants. Since adding it to my dosing schedule, I’ve seen new root growth in a matter of days. Especially good for transitioning plants or recovering from a trim. Doesn’t cloud the water and my shrimp don’t mind it either. It’s a staple in my aquascaping routine now.

Worka GREAT! Jump started the rooting and growth of new plants in my aquarium, when paired with fertilizers and CO2. I never had success with these type of plants before I used this product.
