API AMMO LOCK 118 mL (4 fl oz) detoxifies ammonia in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It also treats chlorine and chloramine in tap water.
Product features
- Converts ammonia into a less toxic form; it does not physically remove ammonia from the aquarium.
- Suitable for use when an ammonia test indicates a problem, following the bottle directions.
How to use
Add 5 mL for every 38 L (10 U.S. gallons) of water. Repeat every two days until ammonia is no longer detected. If ammonia remains after seven days, the manufacturer directs a partial water change, filter maintenance and reduced feeding.
Before use
An ammonia test can remain positive after dosing because detoxified ammonia may still be measured. Continue water testing and address the cause; this product does not replace aquarium maintenance. For ornamental fish use only.
