MAYIN Filtration Care Trio brings together three separate MAYIN products selected by YoloLife for mechanical filtration, biological-filter media and label-directed bacterial supplementation.

Three products, three roles

Capture suspended debris

The filter cotton is mechanical filtration media. It catches suspended particles as water passes through it. Trapped waste remains in the system until the cotton is cleaned or replaced, so inspect it regularly and maintain water flow.

Provide a surface for the biofilter

Super Stone Standard is porous biological filter media. Its surfaces provide space for bacterial colonisation. In an established biofilter, nitrifying microorganisms convert ammonia to nitrite and then nitrate. This process depends on suitable water conditions, oxygen, flow and time; adding new media alone does not create an instantly mature filter.

Support a filter-care routine

The 900 mL nitrifying bacteria product is a bacterial supplement intended for biological-filter care. Follow the directions and dose on the exact bottle supplied. Continue to monitor ammonia and nitrite; adding a supplement does not replace water testing or routine maintenance.

How to use the combination

1. Check your filter layout. Place the cotton in a suitable mechanical filtration stage according to your filter instructions. Do not pack it so tightly that it restricts flow.
2. Place the biological media. Use Super Stone in a suitable bio-media compartment, with water able to flow through it. Follow the filter and media instructions for preparation and placement.
3. Follow the bacteria label. Use the dose and schedule printed on the supplied bottle. Maintain suitable flow and aeration.
4. Check and maintain. Inspect the cotton for clogging, preserve mature biological media and avoid replacing it all at once. Test ammonia and nitrite and continue appropriate water changes.

Before choosing this set

The 5 L figure is the volume of filter media, not a rating for aquarium water capacity. Confirm that the media fit your filter and check each product label for suitability for your aquarium. The products have separate roles; the combination does not carry a guaranteed cycling time or a fish-treatment claim.
